Can I see my DJ perform before deciding to book them?
Absolutely, contact me and I will let you know when my next event is and if you will be able to attend.
Why do I have to sign a contract?
Signing a contract sets expectations and ensures you get what you are paying for.
What if I need to cancel after signing the contract?
While this would be unfortunate, I do understand that life happens. Each contract is tailored to the individual event. Most if not all will receive a full refund. The contract will outline the terms and conditions.
Can the Wedding DJ provide music and sound for the ceremony too?
Yes, this will be gone over with the DJ during the interview.
How can I make sure that Wedding DJ will have all of my special songs and play them at my event?
Discovering what songs go with specific events such as first dance, parent dances, cake cutting etc... is part of the interview process. A form will be filled out with must plays and do NOT plays.
How soon in advance does the DJ need access to the space?
Normally, a good rule of thumb is 1.5 to 2 hours ahead of time. This will provide enough time for load in, setup and the DJ to change.
What are your hourly rates?
Prices do vary from event to event and even the distance to be traveled. While no one event is a one size fits all, I believe prices are the same way.
Will the DJ bring lights to the event?
The DJ can bring lights for the dancefloor and uplights that go around the room. Ask the DJ during the interview process for more information.
Can the DJ make announcements during the event?
Yes, the DJ will have microphones.
